Pedalare da Roma a Castel Gandolfo è un’esperienza che regala emozioni e soddisfazioni. Partendo dal centro della città, ricca di storia e arte, si percorre la via Appia Antica, una delle strade più antiche e suggestive del mondo. Si attraversano parchi e aree protette, dove si possono ammirare le testimonianze dell’antica Roma, come le catacombe, le tombe e gli acquedotti. Salendo poi verso i Castelli Romani, una zona collinare famosa per il suo clima mite, i suoi paesaggi incantevoli e la sua gastronomia, si arriva a Castel Gandolfo, un borgo elegante e raffinato, che domina il lago Albano. Qui si può godere della vista panoramica, vedere il palazzo papale, o fermarsi a degustare i prodotti tipici, come il vino, il formaggio e la porchetta. Ma non è tutto! Una panoramica di Marino, Grottaferrata e Frascati ti aspetta per scoprire un territorio ricco di storia, arte, natura e sapori, che darà vita a ricordi unici e indimenticabili. Day 1: From the city center to Castel Gandolfo
Il tuo viaggio inizia proprio dal centro di Roma! Pedalando lungo il Tevere, accompagnato dalla tua guida, farai come un viaggio nel tempo! Dalla frenesia del centro infatti ti ritroverai all’ improvviso circondato dalla campagna Romana calcando una delle strade più antiche del mondo, la Via Appia Antica!
Qui ti lascerai sorprendere dai racconti della guida mentre ti rifarai gli occhi davanti a tanta bellezza. Pian piano percorrerai l’antichissimo basolato romano fino a raggiungere Castel Gandolfo,uno dei Borghi più belli d’Italia. Qui resterai incantato dalla bellezza del patrimonio archeologico e naturalistico di grande valore, oltre ad apprezzare una vista panoramica sul lago e sulle colline.
The day concludes with dinner and overnight stay in two real local institutions, where you will delight your palate with expertly cooked dishes and rest in a place full of history and charm.

Day 2: Discovering the Castles
Today will be the turn of cycling in the heart of the Castelli Romani!
Lasceremo Castel Gandolfo per raggiungere Marino, un borgo storico famoso per la sua sagra dell’uva e per il suo vino dei Colli Lanuvini DOC. Passeremo per Grottaferrata, un comune che ospita l’Abbazia Greca di San Nilo, un monumento di arte bizantina fondato nel 1004.
Continuiamo il giro, la pedalata assistita ti aiuterà senza fatica ad arrivare fino a Frascati, una città rinascimentale nota per le sue ville, come Villa Aldobrandini, Villa Torlonia e Villa Falconieri. Qui ci sono ristorantini e chioschi in abbondanza per un gustosissimo pranzo all’insegna dei prodotti locali, infatti potrai anche assaggiare il famoso vino bianco di Frascati e il pane casareccio di Genzano IGP.
Ti sei guadagnato un rientro in totale comodità con il nostro shuttle che ti condurrà fino al punto di partenza dove riconsegnerai la bici e troverai i tuoi bagagli ad aspettarti.

- Departure is guaranteed when the minimum number of participants is reached. In case this does not happen you can change your trip or ask us for a full refund of the paid fee.
- For organizational reasons, the hotel may place participants in another related facility, with equal treatment. Some hotels may require a credit card at check in to guarantee any consumption or extra services (minibar, spa entrance,...). The card is released at check out.
- The itinerary may be subject to changes before and/or during the vacation due to organizational reasons, weather conditions (to be understood as heavy thunderstorms only and not drizzle) or provisions of local authorities.There will be no refund for changes or non-performance of the program due to the above-mentioned causes. In case of closures not foreseeable at the time of program publication, we will substitute the planned visit with other places of interest.
- We expect you to be fit to tackle this route: check well the level of difficulty and the characteristics of the route, and ask us for help if you have any doubts. It is essential to know how to ride a bicycle with a minimum of experience in its use. People deemed by our guide to be unfit for the trip, or with physical issues that preclude the safe conduct of the tour, will not be admitted to the group. There will be no refunds for unsuitable persons.
- Please indicate at the time of booking any allergies, intolerances or dietary habits (e.g. vegetarian, vegan diet...). We will notify the facilities of your request. To be safe, bring a small supply of special foods (e.g., gluten-free) with you.
- Remember to check out in the morning, right after breakfast, so that you do not leave any documents required at the hotel during check in. In fact, at the end of the tour you will not return to the hotel, your luggage will be transported by our transfer service directly to the rental point (meeting point).
- The Package's included Luggage Transfer service provides only and exclusively for one small/medium sized trolley per person. Any other additional luggage may be transported upon agreed request and extra payment.
- Remember to charge the E-Bike battery overnight so that you have all the levels to ride the next day.
