Ride comfortably on an E-Bike together with an experienced guide along the beautiful and scenic Paliano-Fiuggi bike route, dating back to the early 1900s, which has been transformed into one of Italy's most beautiful bicycle routes.

We will pass through ancient vineyards of Cesanese wine, which we will have a chance to taste in a winery along with typical local products.

Immerse yourself in the nature and rural villages of the Simbruini Mountains Regional Park, such as the villages of Acuto, Piglio and Paliano.

You will sleep in a hotel where you will have access to the spa and its wellness treatments to recharge your batteries. On the following day we will discover the famous Arcinazzo Highlands and traveling along a road that was already traveled in Roman times (via Sublacense), we will see Emperor Trajan's villa dating back to the 2nd century AD.

We will continue along mountain roads with breathtaking views and grazing animals until we reach Subiaco, an early medieval village, overlooked by the imposing Rocca Abbaziale, which stands on a limestone outcrop dominating the Aniene Valley.

Day 1: Cicloferrovia and Fiuggi 


In the morning our shuttle will be waiting to take you on a short ride of about 1 hour to Paliano. When you arrive at your destination, you hop on your electric bikes to ride along the beautiful Paliano-Fiuggi cyclo-railway.
This section is considered to be one of the most beautiful bike paths in Italy, thanks to the splendid views along the entire route.
You will pass through places of cultural and natural interest: these are characteristic villages located at the foot of the Ernici mountains ,characterized by a hilly landscape. They are places rich in forests, meadows and streams, and are an important reserve of biodiversity, as well as important agricultural centers, producing high quality wine, oil and fruit.
In fact, a stop at a winery to taste Cesanese wine (famous for its fragrance and body) is planned.
In the afternoon, arrive in Fiuggi, check in and settle in the selected Bike Hotel with Spa where you can be rejuvenated by a wellness path and enjoy a dinner prepared with local products.

Day 2: Subiaco


We say goodbye to Fiuggi by passing through the historic center where you will find medieval streets and historic buildings, such as the 14th-century Orsini-Colonna Castle.
We then plunge into nature trails until we reach the Altipiani di Arcinazzo, a mountainous area in the central Apennines that is part of the Abruzzo National Park.
The area is rich in deciduous and coniferous forests, small rural villages scattered among the hills, hot springs, caves, and significant historical sites such as the Villa of Trajan. Today's final destination will be the beautiful Subiaco, which offers visitors a valuable historical, artistic and natural heritage. In fact, we will devote the afternoon to discovering the Abbey Rock, the Church of St. Francis, the Papal Palace and much more.

Day 3: Nature trail


Ready to take an avalanche of photos for your Social? Today's route to the Lake of St. Benedict and the monasteries. is a beautiful hike that allows you to discover some of the most evocative places in the Aniene Valley, among nature, history and spirituality. The trail passes by the Monastery of St. Scholastica, the oldest of the Benedictine monasteries in Subiaco, and follows on to the Pond of St. Benedict, a small mirror of turquoise water surrounded by limestone rocks and fed by a natural waterfall. Here you can admire the ruins of Nero's Villa, a first-century AD imperial residence, and the Sanctuary of the Sacro Speco, a cave where St. Benedict lived as a hermit and where medieval frescoes can be seen. The route then continues to the Monastery of St. Blaise, another Benedictine place of worship, and finally arrives at the Three Little Lakes of Nero, three artificial basins created to feed the baths of the imperial villa

  • Departure is guaranteed when the minimum number of participants is reached. In case this does not happen you can change your trip or ask us for a full refund of the paid fee.
  • For organizational reasons, the hotel may place participants in another related facility, with equal treatment. Some hotels may require a credit card at check in to guarantee any consumption or extra services (minibar, spa entrance,...). The card is released at check out.
  • The itinerary may be subject to changes before and/or during the vacation due to organizational reasons, weather conditions (to be understood as heavy thunderstorms only and not drizzle) or provisions of local authorities.There will be no refund for changes or non-performance of the program due to the above-mentioned causes. In case of closures not foreseeable at the time of program publication, we will substitute the planned visit with other places of interest.
  • We expect you to be fit to tackle this route: check well the level of difficulty and the characteristics of the route, and ask us for help if you have any doubts. It is essential to know how to ride a bicycle with a minimum of experience in its use. People deemed by our guide to be unfit for the trip, or with physical issues that preclude the safe conduct of the tour, will not be admitted to the group. There will be no refunds for unsuitable persons.
  • Please indicate at the time of booking any allergies, intolerances or dietary habits (e.g. vegetarian, vegan diet...). We will notify the facilities of your request. To be safe, bring a small supply of special foods (e.g., gluten-free) with you.
  • Remember to check out in the morning, right after breakfast, so that you do not leave any documents required at the hotel during check in. In fact, at the end of the tour you will not return to the hotel, your luggage will be transported by our transfer service directly to the rental point (meeting point).
  • The Package's included Luggage Transfer service provides only and exclusively for one small/medium sized trolley per person. Any other additional luggage may be transported upon agreed request and extra payment.
  • Remember to charge the E-Bike battery overnight so that you have all the levels to ride the next day.
