A bike trip between Spello, Assisi and the Sagrantino road is a way to discover Umbria by bike, cycling immersed in the history, culture and beauty of this land. 

You will pass through enchanting natural landscapes , breathe in the spirituality of Assisi, marvel at works of art by great masters such as Giotto, Cimabue, Lorenzetti and Pinturicchio. Day 1: Destination Foligno 


Your Meeting Point will be the Termini Station in Rome. Here you will get acquainted with the rest of the group and your guide who will be with you for the duration of this fascinating journey!
After about 2 hours by train, we arrive in Foligno, where a shuttle is waiting to take us to the selected Bike Hotel.
In the afternoon there will be a briefing with the local guide who will explain the itinerary program and the functionality of the e-bikes.

Day 2: Spello and Assisi 


The tour of the Umbrian Valley by E-bike begins in the direction of Spello, the village famous for its flower displays and among "the most beautiful in Italy," which preserves ancient remains such as the Roman Amphitheater and the Villa of the Mosaics, as well as the beautiful historic center, rich in churches, palaces and works of art.
The route continues to Assisi, birthplace of St. Francis, which is reached by pedaling around Mount Subasio, which dominates the valley with its imposing bulk.
Pedaling through the dense vegetation of Mount Subasio Park and small villages carved out of ancient castles you will then arrive in Assisi, the city of peace, which will enchant you with its historic center, a World Heritage Site,for its beauty and spirituality.
Conclude your trip today with a taste of the area's typical products, such as wine, oil, cheese and sweets.
Return to Foligno, passing through the Via degli Ulivi.

Day 3: The Sagrantino Road 


When you visit a city as big as Rome, there is nothing better than escaping the traffic of the main streets and immersing yourself in an oasis of peace like Villa Borghese!

In fact, this last day we will dedicate it to getting to know the green areas of Rome with adjoining historic villas, so it will also be the turn of Villa Ada, and to end on a high note you can visit the Crypt of the Capuchins or alternatively the very famous Coppedè neighborhood.

Upon returning from the tour at the meeting point ( the same as the first day), you will return your bikes, and you can retrieve your luggage here before saying goodbye.

  • Departure is guaranteed when the minimum number of participants is reached. In case this does not happen you can change your trip or ask us for a full refund of the paid fee.
  • For organizational reasons, the hotel may place participants in another related facility, with equal treatment. Some hotels may require a credit card at check in to guarantee any consumption or extra services (minibar, spa entrance,...). The card is released at check out.
  • The itinerary may be subject to changes before and/or during the vacation due to organizational reasons, weather conditions (to be understood as heavy thunderstorms only and not drizzle) or provisions of local authorities.There will be no refund for changes or non-performance of the program due to the above-mentioned causes. In case of closures not foreseeable at the time of program publication, we will substitute the planned visit with other places of interest.
  • We expect you to be fit to tackle this route: check well the level of difficulty and the characteristics of the route, and ask us for help if you have any doubts. It is essential to know how to ride a bicycle with a minimum of experience in its use. People deemed by our guide to be unfit for the trip, or with physical issues that preclude the safe conduct of the tour, will not be admitted to the group. There will be no refunds for unsuitable persons.
  • Please indicate at the time of booking any allergies, intolerances or dietary habits (e.g. vegetarian, vegan diet...). We will notify the facilities of your request. To be safe, bring a small supply of special foods (e.g., gluten-free) with you.
  • Remember to check out in the morning, right after breakfast, so that you do not leave any documents required at the hotel during check in. In fact, at the end of the tour you will not return to the hotel, your luggage will be transported by our transfer service directly to the rental point (meeting point).
  • The Package's included Luggage Transfer service provides only and exclusively for one small/medium sized trolley per person. Any other additional luggage may be transported upon agreed request and extra payment.
  • Remember to charge the E-Bike battery overnight so that you have all the levels to ride the next day.
