This itinerary journey will surprise you minute by minute.An escalation of emotions will begin with a tasting and visit to a winery in Montefiascone. You will get in touch with the territory and its history, and the food will win you over at the first taste. We are only at the beginning of the experience, which in fact will continue to discover postcard photo panoramas of Bolsena and wonderful Borghi such as that of Orvieto.

The ultimate awe will come once you reach Civita di Bagnoregio. Imagine walking over a bridge suspended in the void, leading you to a medieval village set on a tufa cliff. This is Civita di Bagnoregio, the town that dies but stands the test of time and erosion.

Day 1: The hills of Tuscia and Montefiascone 


We look forward to seeing you at our meeting point, for an amazing adventure! 

Our shuttle will take us comfortably to Viterbo, the city of the popes. 
From here we will get on our electric bikes and begin pedaling along the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrims' road across Europe. We will pedal through the hills of Tuscia, rich in history, art and nature. We will arrive in Montefiascone, the city of wine, and along with a tour of the center we will enjoy a glass of Est! Est!!! Est!!!, the famous local wine combined with a visit to a historic winery. Here we will appreciate the history of the producing family as well as taste local products, in an informal and really pleasant setting!
Toast to your biking adventure! You have just ridden one of the most beautiful and evocative sections of the Via Francigena, an experience you will remember forever.

Day 2: Bolsena and the lake


Leaving Montefiascone, it's time for Lake Bolsena,the largest volcanic lake in Europe. Here the scenery will be a real picture to be photographed!, breathe in the pure, fragrant air.
Enjoy views of the islands of Bisentina and Martana, ancient refuges of popes and princes. We'll follow the scenic road along the lake, among olive and cypress trees, and reach Bolsena, a charming village that deserves a break from pedaling.Today's final destination, however, will be Orvieto, one of Umbria's most beautiful and evocative cities. Admire the cathedral, an Italian Gothic masterpiece, and the St. Patrick's Well, an engineering marvel. Explore the caves and tunnels carved into the tufa, evidence of a history dating back thousands of years.
We will end the bike ride with a sampling of local products.

Day 3: Civita di Bagnoregio


The last day begins with a ride through the hills of Umbria, rich in history, art and nature. Take in the views of the calanchi, the rock formations carved by erosion, and the profile of Civita di Bagnoregio, the "dying town." We will then park the bike at the pedestrian bridge that connects the village to the mainland, and begin a challenging but rewarding climb to the village.
Our journey ends here in Civita di Bagnoregio, a medieval jewel that defies time and gravity, will enchant us with its magical and mysterious atmosphere.

  • Departure is guaranteed when the minimum number of participants is reached. In case this does not happen you can change your trip or ask us for a full refund of the paid fee.
  • For organizational reasons, the hotel may place participants in another related facility, with equal treatment. Some hotels may require a credit card at check in to guarantee any consumption or extra services (minibar, spa entrance,...). The card is released at check out.
  • The itinerary may be subject to changes before and/or during the vacation due to organizational reasons, weather conditions (to be understood as heavy thunderstorms only and not drizzle) or provisions of local authorities.There will be no refund for changes or non-performance of the program due to the above-mentioned causes. In case of closures not foreseeable at the time of program publication, we will substitute the planned visit with other places of interest.
  • We expect you to be fit to tackle this route: check well the level of difficulty and the characteristics of the route, and ask us for help if you have any doubts. It is essential to know how to ride a bicycle with a minimum of experience in its use. People deemed by our guide to be unfit for the trip, or with physical issues that preclude the safe conduct of the tour, will not be admitted to the group. There will be no refunds for unsuitable persons.
  • Please indicate at the time of booking any allergies, intolerances or dietary habits (e.g. vegetarian, vegan diet...). We will notify the facilities of your request. To be safe, bring a small supply of special foods (e.g., gluten-free) with you.
  • Remember to check out in the morning, right after breakfast, so that you do not leave any documents required at the hotel during check in. In fact, at the end of the tour you will not return to the hotel, your luggage will be transported by our transfer service directly to the rental point (meeting point).
  • The Package's included Luggage Transfer service provides only and exclusively for one small/medium sized trolley per person. Any other additional luggage may be transported upon agreed request and extra payment.
  • Remember to charge the E-Bike battery overnight so that you have all the levels to ride the next day.
