To reach us by public transport: Near the Colosseum or Circo Massimo metro, take bus 118 towards Villa dei Quintili, and get off at the Basilica di San Sebastiano stop. In front of Sebastiano Catacombs entrance (next to the drinking fountain), your guide will welcome you and will lead you on foot to the rental point
Groups and Tour Confirmation
- Minimum number of participants: The tour requires a minimum of 4 participants. If the number is not reached, an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.
- Maximum Group Size: The limit is set at 8 guests per guide to ensure a personalized experience. We can be flexible (1-2 extra guests) so as not to separate family/group bookings; the tour can still depart with fewer than 6 people.
Route, Safety, and Variations
- Route: The 90% section of the route runs along the ancient Roman paving stones of the Appia Antica, in a restricted traffic zone (access permitted to residents only). There are only two short road crossings: one to enter the Parco degli Acquedotti and one between Tor Fiscale and the Parco della Caffarella.
- Route variations: In the event of celebrations, official events, or public demonstrations, the operator reserves the right to replace one or more highlights of the itinerary to ensure the safety of the group.
Suitability, Experience, and Discretion
- Riding Experience: You must be able to ride a bicycle confidently.
- Test and Denial: A brief assessment test will be conducted prior to departure. The guide has the absolute right to refuse participation (without refund) to any guest deemed unsuitable due to insufficient driving skills or poor physical/mental condition.
Children Policy
- Infants: Infants and children (up to 20kg / 44lbs) travel free of charge using a provided child seat.
- Children: Children (under 139 cm / 4 ft 7 in) must use a bike extension (tag-along/trailer).
- Minimum age for e-bikes: The minimum age for riding your own e-bike is 12 years.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of the Tour.
- No refund if cancellation occurs within 24 hours before the start of the experience
